Selection methods and control strategies of air conditioning water circulation pumps based on safety and high efficiency

Based on the demands of safe operation, service guarantee and low carbon energy saving, the different design concepts and control strategies of chilled water circulation pumps in air conditioning chilled water systems are compared and analysed, and the design selection and control strategies of chilled water pumps running in parallel in refrigeration stations are debated and discussed. From the perspective of different specialties of HVAC and automatic control, the security technical measures for the parallel operation of multiple pumps with the same performance are given. After comparing and analysing the control strategies of supply and return main pipe differential pressure on the cold source side and the most unfavorable terminal differential pressure on the cold side, a multi-terminal distributed differential pressure control method is presented, which can be used as a reference for designers.
